ISO 9001:2015 is a forthcoming revision of ISO 9001 standards that is expected to take effect in late 2015. ISO review their standards every five years to ensure that everything remains up-to-date and relevant to the current marketplace; the new ISO 9001 update will take recent trends and changes into account whilst simultaneously ensuring compatibility with ISO 14001 and other modern management systems. In short, ISO 9001:2015 will herald a new generation of quality management standards.

The new ISO 9001 standards are expected to be published in September 2015.

What will ISO 9001:2015 mean for my business?

Once the revision takes effect, ISO 9001-certified businesses will have three years to migrate their quality management system and meet the new standards.
